I personally believe that in the near future, Insulin Potentiation Therapy (IPT) will be the standard method of therapy used in the United States to treat cancer. I feel so strongly about this, that after practicing medicine for over 44 years I have made IPT treatment the focal point of my medical practice.
If you have been diagnosed with cancer, please do yourself the favor of considering and investigating IPT treatment, along with consulting traditional oncology. Targeted Low Dose Chemotherapy (IPT) is a much kinder and gentler treatment which specifically targets the cancer cells while avoiding the harsh side effects of traditional chemotherapy on normal cells. Dr Winkler completed his training in San Bernardino County Medical Center in Family Medicine. He is Board certified and has recertified in ‘98 and in ’05. After completing his training he had a 4 year Air Force tour stationed at 2 different bases. At KI Sawyer AFB he was Chief of the Primary Care Clinic, where he improved the access to care and improved the delivery of medical care in the hospital. He also managed the Allergy and Immunization clinic along with running a self directed headache clinic. After leaving the Air Force Dr Winkler went into private practice in Carlsbad for 2 years then became an eight year career in Homecare, making over 12,000 house calls on homebound geriatric patients all across the San Diego County. Over the past 10 years he has maintained his interest in alternative and complementary medicine with joining the American College for the Advancement in Medicine in ’96 and rejoining in 2005. He has special training in chelation therapy and insulin potentiated therapy for cancer treatment. He recently joined the American College of Osteopathic Sclerotherapy Pain management. His training includes Mesotherapy for pain management. He is well versed in multiple different alternative therapies. His approach is based on nutrition, heavy metal detoxification and enhancing the immune systems. In addition he treats hormonal conditions from menopause, hypothyroidism, and andropause.
Along with his busy professional career he maintains an active personal life. Married with 3 daughters, he resides in Carlsbad. During the fall he coaches the girls’ soccer teams and has managed to maintain his expertise in karate with a second-degree black belt. He also enjoys playing the saxophone and being active in sports, personal training, and family trips. His weekends are full with family and sports related activities.
